The Two Doors

Knowledge and Wisdom

So that women understand men as CEOs and as warriors, and men understand how women think. He stands. She moves. He is constant while she dances and moves quickly. Neither is less; each is the other's completion.

His door · the CEO and warrior

Knowledge

The constant. The one who knows and protects.

The WHAT I am

A man sees himself by what he is: the protector, the knowledgeable one, the constant. He is the post that does not move so that everything around him can.

Knowledge as the wall

Knowledge is the male aspect: the known boundary, the standard, the covenant, the ground that must not be given up. He keeps it, guards it and holds it steady.

What he protects

His wife, his children, his name, his trade, his word. A warrior is not looking for a fight; he is keeping watch so the house can flourish inside the wall.

Her door · the CEO and COO

Wisdom

Wisdom contains knowledge, and knows how to act on it.

C · Attribute — who she is

She begins with who she is. Her wisdom is an attribute given to her as a woman, not a skill she borrows.

E · Character — how she acts

Then her character: how she moves, how she acts, how she brings things to life. This is wisdom in action, the how-to.

O · Perfection — her office

Then her office: what she has to work with. It is an extension of her attribute. She is resourceful with every resource in her hand.

Like childbirth

She forgets everything, and acts in wisdom

In delivery a woman lets everything else fall away. She does not stop to look things up. She acts in wisdom, with her natural God-given talents and usefulness, using the resources in front of her and being resourceful. That is how she runs her estate: as its COO, the one who knows how to make it happen.
